Compulsory Face Masks / Kitchen Update

Masks Update: From Monday 5th October students MUST wear face masks in all communal areas.

Kitchen Update: Week Commencing 5th October we will only be available to provide food for students eligible for Free School Meals.

Masks Update:

From Monday 5th October students MUST wear face masks in all communal areas, such as: on the corridors, in changing rooms, in the Dining areas - when not eating - or in their break/lunch zones and at lesson changeovers when moving around the Academy and when they leave at the end of the day.

- Masks should be worn from when they arrive through the gates.
- Although not currently recommended in the government guidance, students may choose to wear face masks in the classroom where they feel safer to do so.
- Further guidance on masks is available within the updated Student Protocol.

Kitchen Update:

Unfortunately, due to issues beyond our control we are unable to offer our normal kitchen service in the week commencing 5th October.

Only student's eligible for free school meals will be able to be provided with a lunch for this next week.

For students who are not eligible for FSM, we will not be able to provide a food service at either break or lunch. Parents/Carers can you please ensure you send your child with any snacks for break and a lunch.

A text message has been sent to all parents, and an email to all students regarding this.

We should be able to provide our full catering service week commencing 12th October.
