Salary: £12.26 per hour – Casual basis

£13.26 per hour for Lead Exam Invigilator role subject to experience

The Academy is looking to appoint additional examination invigilators for the forthcoming Spring and Summer examinations. This is on a casual, part-time basis, subject to the requirements of the internal mocks and public examination series run at various times throughout the academic year. Candidates do not need to be available for all examination series dates, but a flexible approach and the ability to offer a number of days throughout the examination periods would be advantageous.

We are looking for enthusiastic and proactive people who can work with a team of staff in order to maximise and promote the highest standards within the Academy. Organisational and motivational skills are essential to this post. Applicants must also be vigilant, reliable, personable and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.

The post holders' responsibilities include invigilating for both internal mock examinations on a rota basis. This includes supporting the Examinations Officer, Senior staff and teachers to ensure the examinations are well -organised, and run in an efficient manner. These need to be administered in line with internal and external examination regulations whilst ensuring this is done in a personable and caring manner so as to encourage and support students during this stressful time for them.
